Our species is tough, resilient and durable. Human expected average lifespan is now over Eighty years generally in most developed countries, along with more and more centenarians every year. Expanding scientific, biological and health-related knowledge is showing us the fact that there are actually a lot more elements than the easier obvious short term results of nutrition and stress. In addition there are critical (and sometimes subtle) long-run consequences which should be taken into account.

For example, there is a generally accepted minimum daily Vitamin C intake necessary to prevent scurvy. Once we thought that this minimum amount was all that anyone needed. Subsequent scientific studies showed us that increased Vitamin C intake had significant health and well-being benefits.

The cycle for getting scurvy is measured in months. The general health cycle for better health from higher C Vitamin levels consumed daily is measured in years and decades.

There are other, longer-lasting cycles of effects of deprivations of nutrients, antioxidants, phytochemicals, probiotics and others that affect us. These deprivations can lead to diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease and maybe alzheimer’s disease and others.

We also know now that numerous pollutants (like lead) and certain substances found in processed foods (like trans fats, nitrates and certain preservatives) have long-term life-shortening effects on us humans.

All this pushes us to avoid artificial drug solutions and move toward more natural cures.

Understanding this now allows to successfully treat fibroids symptoms and make highly effective psoriasis shampoo. This rapidly evolving view of things now helps us to live longer, better, happier lives.

Science marches on, bringing new understandings and suggesting new possibilities every day. As researchers continue to unravel the secrets of how our body chemistry really works, down to the molecular level, our viewpoint and our capabilities to improve and prolong human life are constantly improving.
